Many of Dr. Shirazi's patients were spending hundreds of dollars on "miracle" products that didn't work or weren't suited for their skin type at all. So she built a line that was clinically-backed, grounded in research, and proven to deliver real results.
What started as a passion to help her own patients became a mission: science-backed skincare that actually works.
Dr. Azadeh Shirazi, MD
Board-Certified Dermatologist · Medical, Surgical & Cosmetic Dermatology
Dr. Shirazi trained at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, Harvard Medical School, and the Mayo Clinic before completing a research fellowship at Harvard's Wellman Center for Photomedicine, studying the effects of light and laser therapy on skin. This is the work that continues to shape how she treats inflammation, wound healing, and complex skin conditions today. Beyond her own patients, she trains other dermatologists and speaks internationally on the science of skin, from the Global Aesthetic Conference to the World Congress of Dermatology in Argentina, helping advance the field she's spent her career in.

AziMD isn't a line dreamed up in a boardroom; it's built alongside Dr. Shirazi's active practice at La Jolla Dermatology and Laser Surgery Center, a 2,000-square-foot medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology center in the heart of La Jolla Village. Every treatment room is named for a local landmark; every procedure is performed by board-certified physicians.
