AziMD Skincare was developed by skin expert Dr. Azadeh Shirazi, MD, a board-certified dermatologist based out of La Jolla, CA.

With a busy practice, Dr. Shirazi, or "Dr. Azi," as her patients know her, has seen thousands of patients with skin concerns. When asking patients what skincare they were using, Dr. Azi often ran into the issue of patients knowing what name brands they were using, but not the specific product or active ingredients. More often than not, her patients were spending hundreds of dollars on what they believed to be the next "miracle products," but the products lacked efficacy or were wrong for the patient's skin type.

In an effort to help her patients achieve their skin goals, AziMD was developed to offer Dr. Azi's patients a medical-grade skincare line whose efficacy was based on clinical trials, science and research.

A common issue with many skincare products on the market today is the addition of parabens, preservatives, dyes, fragrances and other harsh chemicals that can cause the development of sensitivity in any skin type. For that reason, AziMD products are paraben free, preservative free, fragrance free, free of dyes, gluten free, vegan, cruelty free, and made in the USA.

Dr. Shirazi believes in simplicity and science. Very rarely will she suggest starting off with more than three steps to your skincare routine. Using too many product with unknown ingredients, you have a higher chance of complications, skin irritation or rash.
