How to Pick the Right AziMD Sunscreen For You

Posted by Hayley Marin on

Finding the right sunscreen can be a challenge. Since SPF is the most important step in your skincare routine, we’re here to help you figure out what type is right for you! AziMD sunscreens are suitable for even the most sensitive skin, but everyone has their preferences. The key to sunscreen is finding one that you love and fits well into your routine! Let’s break down all of our sunscreens and help you find your best match.

Hydratint BB Cream:

Why we love it: The tinted sunscreen you’ve been dreaming of! The Hydratint BB Cream (also one of our best sellers), has a slight tint to it that helps to even out the skin tone. It’s moisturizing and rubs well into the skin, unlike many mineral sunscreens on the market.

Key Ingredients: Hyaluronic Acid

SPF: 46

Great for skin type/concern: Acne-prone, dry, rosacea, combination, sensitive

Dr. Azi’s Tip: My favorite thing about this product is that it gives you a “filter-like” appearance once rubbed into the skin!

Clear Defense SPF 45:

Why we love it: This sunscreen is for those who like to keep it simple. It’s lightweight, oil-free, and fast-absorbing. It’s the perfect all-over SPF for beach days, pool days, etc.

Key Ingredients: Niacinamide, Knotweed Extract

SPF: 45

Great for skin type/concern: oily, combination, acne-prone, sensitive

Dr. Azi’s Tip: Apply this SPF all over the face & follow with the Sunkissed Powder SPF for a little bit of tint and extra protection.

Sunkissed Powder SPF:

Why we love it: This is the perfect SPF to help you touch up throughout the day. (every 2 hours if in direct sun) It is slightly tinted which helps to even the skin tone! This is super easy to grab-and-go and keep in your bag. Just brush it on and you are good to go!

Key Ingredients: 100% mineral foundation SPF powder with only 4 organic ingredients

SPF: 50

Great for skin type/concern: All skin types!

Dr. Azi’s Tip: This is my go-to for SPF reapplication. I keep it in my bag at all times. It also helps absorb oils from the skin which is just what I need mid-day!

UV Clear Powder:

Why we love it: Similar to the Sunkissed Powder SPF, our UV Clear Powder is great for reapplication of SPF throughout your day. We recommend this to someone wanting SPF without the tint. P.S. don’t forget to apply your sunscreen to the neck and chest! People often miss these areas.

Key Ingredients: 100% mineral foundation SPF powder with only 4 organic ingredients

SPF: 50

Great for skin type/concern: All skin types!

Dr. Azi’s Tip: If you’re looking to absorb oils from the skin without the tint, this is your new best friend! Perfect for mid-day SPF reapplication and keeps your complexion less oily.

Platinum Lip Plump SPF 30

Why we love it: Not only does this product plump and hydrate your lips, it protects your lips from UV rays as well! Unlike lots of lip plumpers, this one does not dry your lips. The added SPF makes this the perfect everyday lip product.

Key Ingredients: Peppermint, peptides, ceramides

SPF: 30

Great for skin type/concern: An amazing addition to anybody’s skincare routine. Seriously, you need this!

Dr. Azi’s Tip: Line your lips with your favorite lip liner and then apply this lip plumper all over the lips. It keeps your lips plump, protected, and looking amazing!
